Tickets to Dance Pacifica Ball
General Ticket Information
The Victoria Ballroom Dance Society (VBDS) will present its 16th annual
gala ballroom dance and competition on June 11, 2011 at Saanich Commonwealth Place,
4636 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, BC.
Dance Pacifica is one of the premier events for ballroom dancers, competitors, and fans on Vancouver Island,
featuring competition from the Junior and Juvenile Newcomer level to
the Vancouver Island Open Adult and Senior Championships in both
Standard and Latin dances.
The daytime program will feature
exhibition dances by students from area elementary and high schools.
Everyone is welcome to attend!
The doors to Dance Pacifica typically will open at 10:30 am for general
dancing and warm-up. Events will begin at 11:30. The day
session will run until approximately 4:30 pm.
The doors will re-open at 6:30 pm for the evening session with finals and
showcase dancing from 7:00 pm to around 11pm.
Dress for the evening is formal / semi-formal.
Everyone needs a ticket to attend. Students in the elementary and high
school competitions or demonstrations during the
daytime need a $10 daytime-only ticket, available for purchase at the door on
the day of Dance Pacifica. All other competitors must purchase a full event ticket. See the competitors information section for more information.
Seating
The afternoon session is "general seating" and the evening is
"reserved" seating.

- Tickets in Row A are on the ballroom floor.
- Tickets in Row B are on risers immediately behind row A.
- Tickets for rows C, D, and E are also on stepped-up risers and, include admission to all day and
evening events.

dinner served this year at The Olive Grove restaurant.
Again, these tickets are purchased separately from your admission ticket.

Tickets for the daytime-only admissions (adults, children, students) are $10 each for the morning and afternoon sessions only, excluding the evening events.
These will be sold for cash only at the door on the day of the event.

Individual Sales
Where and When
Individual sales will be handled by the Royal, MacPherson Box Office, Victoria
BC, and sales will commence on May 12, 2011.
Purchase Methods
Tickets may be purchased in person, by phone or, on line at the Royal McPherson Online Ticket Sales website.
Credit cards may
be used by phone and on-line and debit cards or cash may be used in
person at the box office.

Row A, $65.00
Row B (on a riser), $60.00
Rows C, D, E (on progressively higher risers), $50.00
Day only (10:30 to 4:30), unreserved seating, cash only at the door are $10.00
Daytime Only Tickets
Everyone is welcome to attend!
The daytime program will provide all attendees the opportunity to
experience competitions, general dancing, and exhibition dances
by students from area elementary and high schools, as well as
members of the dance community.
Cash at the Door Only
Tickets for daytime-only admissions are $10 per person (adults,
children, students, seniors).
This includes the morning and afternoon
sessions only, and excludes the evening events.
Day tickets will be sold only at
the door and only for cash, on the day of
Dance Pacifica: June 11, 2011.
A cash machine is available in the lobby of Saanich Commonwealth
Place.
Times and Seating
Daytime events usually commence at 11:30. Doors would open at 10:30 for
general dancing, registration and warm up.
General seating is in effect during the morning and afternoon -
no reserved seating.
2011 Competitor Tickets
All competitors must have a full event ticket (minimum $30)
except for the elementary and high school students
who must have a daytime ticket ($10).
Competitors will receive a "promo code"--sent from O2CM once they register--which they must use to obtain this pricing. If
you do not receive the "promo code", please contact the DP11 Registrar at: registrar@dancepacifica.org
A special section has been set aside for competitors only. The seats
in this section are NOT reserved. These tickets are available at a
special price of $30 for the whole day and evening.
Competitors who wish to have a reserved seat must purchase a
riser seat ticket at the regular price. Also, to participate in
the gala dinner at The Olive Grove restaurant a separate dinner
ticket is required.
